Cold-formed steel building kits generated through BBS Dimensions generally carry standard component warranties supplied by our steel suppliers.
Standard component coverage
Structural Frames
Most major component manufacturers provide a 20-year to 25-year limited rust-through warranty on heavy-gauge, galvanized cold-formed steel Cees and Zees framing, provided the building is properly erected and maintained away from highly corrosive marine environments.
Roof & Wall Panels
Roof and siding panels typically feature a 20-to-40-year paint finish warranty, often covering chalking and fading and backed by major coatings suppliers such as AkzoNobel or Valspar/Sherwin-Williams.
Workmanship / Leaks
BBS inclusive workmanship or installation-related leak warranties are issued based on build parameters.
