Balcones Building Systems was founded in 2007 with a foundation in general construction and a commitment to building projects the right way. Over the years, our experience has expanded across residential and commercial construction, including work for the United States Federal Government and the Department of the Interior.
That experience taught us that successful construction isn’t simply about putting up a building. It requires disciplined planning, sound engineering, reliable materials, experienced project management and a construction process that controls cost and schedule from the beginning.

Jeff Schultz
Balcones Building Systems was founded by Jeff Schultz, a construction professional and entrepreneur with decades of experience in the building industry. Since establishing his construction company in 2007, Jeff has led projects across residential, commercial, and federal construction, including work for the U.S. Department of the Interior. His experience ultimately led to a focus on precision-engineered steel building systems and a better way to take projects from concept to completion. Today, Jeff leads Balcones with a focus on helping investors, business owners, and private property owners develop high-quality buildings through a streamlined process combining design, engineering, manufacturing, and construction under one team.
